Started in 2008, AK Vintage designer Anna Korte began making jewelry using antique and vintage found components that invoked mystery and memory from a bygone day, repurposed and appropriated to modern style. In the years that the company has grown, the inspiration from there pieces have led Anna to focus on designing and creating her jewelry with contemporary materials, creating new shapes and images, original to the AK label. In this way, AK Vintage is creating a new line of heirloom pieces, drawing from and honoring the vintage pieces used in the past. New shapes for new times, new pieces made by hand to last for generations.
